* French Matting Projects
    - Watercolors
    - Use of ruling pen, tapes
    - Use of powders, paints & inks, soft pastels
    - Mat enhancement

Day Three
* Object Framing Projects
    - Designing the Object box
    - Selecting frames
    - Arranging articles
    - De-acidification
    - Mounting and framing several items

Day Four
* Creative Matting Projects
    - Use of templates
    - Cloth covered mats
    - Ribbon mats
    - Hand carving mats
    - Decorative corners
    - Marbleized tapes
    - Fillets

Day Five
* Glass etching, canvas transfer, glass mats
    - Use of chemicals
    - Using templates
    - Glass and mirror etching
    - Transferring prints to canvas
    - Designing a glass mat using gold foil, sizing & sealing

Note:  All measurements are done in inches and feet

 


FACILITIES:

* School has 1600 square feet; individual tables each with a mat cutter and hand tools.
* School is equipped with all framing equipment normally found in a framing shop.
